Oprah Winfrey Says Farewell!

The queen of talk, Oprah Winfrey, is saying her last goodbyes to her iconic television show and the residents of Chicago. After hosting the daytime talk show for 25 years, “The Oprah Winfrey Show” will air its final episode on May 25. The city of Chicago honored her farewell by naming a street outside of Harpo Studios  “Oprah Winfrey Way.”

As many avid Oprah followers know, she is leaving Chicago to move to Los Angeles so she can better oversee her personal network aptly named the “Oprah Winfrey Network.” OWN has not been getting the kind of ratings she had hoped it would, so she will be giving it more of her attention once she is finished filming her talk show.

If hosting a television show for 25 years and having her own network weren’t enough, the icon is also notable for her fashion sense. Throughout the decades, she has worn an array of outfits ranging from elegent evening gowns to simple everyday dresses. However, an item that never goes unnoticed are her reading glasses. When Oprah wears reading glasses she always remain classy and trendy.
