At Readers.com, we make it a priority to give back to our community — and your community, too! Recently, our parent company launched the “One Click, One Community” program to double our charitable contributions from 1% of company profit to 2%. Our ultimate goal is to make a larger positive impact in the lives of more community members than ever before!

Readers.com supports our community!

One Click, One Community Program

So what does this all mean? While our donations can be financial, our team members have committed to donating at least 400 hours of our work time to make the community a better place. All team members receive one paid day off annually to volunteer in the community, and many use this “community day,” as we call it, to serve at food pantries, animal shelters, and other organizations near and dear to our hearts. Our team members are also giving back to the community during our own after-hours time, volunteering for events like Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes, Walk to Defeat ALS, and Walk for Wishes, and putting on our own events like Charity Pong.

In addition to donating time and cash, Readers.com is honored to donate products to organizations with charitable efforts around the community. In the past, we’ve donated our reading glasses to groups that are working to fight illiteracy in urban areas and third world countries.

$1,000 Worth of Readers for a Cause

We’re excited to announce our newest quest to help the community with our readers! We’re currently searching for online book clubs and book sites supporting charities that can benefit from $1,000 worth of reading glasses.

If you have an online book club that’s affiliated with or supports a charity that could benefit from our reading glasses, please contact our philanthropy specialist, Adam, at adam@readers.com.

Without question, our Readers.com team cares deeply about our community — and we know you do, too. We look forward to hearing from you about organizations that need our support!
