Outstanding customer service8/30/2016
Comments

I would like to thank the folks at Readers.com for their willingness to post my review about these glasses. They were honest enough to post it even though it was not outstanding from a sales point of view. Upon learning of my disappointment, they contacted me and said that nothing less than my total satisfaction would do. I was offered an exchange or a refund without even asking. I opted for the refund, and they promptly sent me a return label with postage. This is not the first time I have purchased from them, and it will not be my last. Their business ethics are what keeps customers coming back.

Reading lens is to small8/28/2016
Comments

I am disappointed that the reading lens is limited to two small areas, located beside the nose pads. I was expecting a bi-focal line running across the horizontal plane of the entire lens. Reading with these glasses is not comfortable due to the small isolated reading area. I find the need to either move my head or my reading material excessively. The computer viewing portion of the glasses works nicely.

I really like these. I purchased a different pair and returned them prior to this pair. The reader at the bottom and computer magnifications are both spot on. I would prefer the top to be completely free of magnification, but I'm happy with not having to constantly put on and take off my glasses.

Difficult to get used to and use effectively.6/13/2016
Comments

The "bifocal" appears to be a "clear plastic sticker" on the lower half of the lens and is very difficult to look through. I would be willing to pay the higher price for these glasses if the bifocal was actually built into the lens.

Pros
Accurate Magnification, Lightweight, Stylish, True To Size
Cons
Priced Too High

Single power glasses with magnification stickers!4/5/2016
Comments

These are just basic 1/2 power with magnification stickers added. Not much different than bifocals. The edge of the stickers cause distortion. Would never recommend.

Comfortable
Cons
Poor Quality

You cant go wrong. Large enough to see complete computer yet gla1/21/2016

Switching between computer and text on paper. Absolutely superb. 2.50 reader; has plenty of room for reading type on paper, while less magnification (guessing 1.75) for reading computer, shows all of the detail. Those folks complaining that the area for close up reading is to small, must have large eyes, because my normal size eyes work perfect when reading close up. I don't have to move my head, just my eyes to switch between computer reading and close up. Hinges are sping loaded. These are great glasses at any price. I went to the optometrist and ordered computer glasses for $129.00 and they are terrible. Looks like I will be sitting in the optometrist chair again. I can't say enough about how great these are. I ordered 2 pair, and they are identical.

Pros
Accurate Magnification, Sturdy, Comfortable, High Quality, True To Size

I was pleasantly surprised when I received these in the mail. These are my first bifocal readers and they are great for the computer. I work on a pc all day and my eyes would get tired going from printed reports to the screen. These glasses relieve that strain. will definitely order again if these break.
