    Very fragile, scratches easily5/24/2016
    Comments

Got two pair, in Jun 2015, less than one year, and limited use with great care the issues were: One pair scratched, both the rubber on the arms had to be reglued on the edges and one pair just exploded while wearing them and broke below the lens. Loud popping sound and low and behold, they really just fell apart. I did expect them to last longer, since I am very careful how I take care of my things. Not sure if I will rebuy this item as a replacement or select another style.

The first pair I received had a crack in the lens. Readers.com's GREAT customer service team quickly replaced them - THANKS! The do feel lightweight, but also fairly flimsy and may not last terribly long or is even lightly sat upon!

I was astonished and delighted that readers.com contacted me after they read my first review. They offered me an exchange or credit on my account if I sent a picture of the broken sunglasses that I referred to in my review. I did and they credited my account immediately. THAT is customer service. I give 5 stars to the company for their speed in contacting me and resolving my issue

    Broke within 2 weeks2/4/2016

These were wonderful for the first week and a half that I wore them on my Caribbean cruise. I took good care of them, but unexpectedly, the frame broke. I was very disappointed because I liked them. Fortunately, I bought another pair of biofocal sunglasses of another name. I haven't worn them enough yet to see if they are more sturdy.

Buy from readers often for both sun and regular readers. Like the variety and the price. Had these before and liked them, so I bought 3 more pairs to get the free shipping and will have suns for a few years. Usually get a year out of each one.
