Good Glasses for the Moolah9/25/2016
Comments

These Vancouver (my home town) frame glasses do the tricks they are asked to do. Perhaps I should have gotten wider frames because I'm a semi-fathead, but they are functioning well, and look good, too (so I'm told).

Pros
Accurate Magnification, Lightweight, Comfortable

Very disappointed9/9/2016
Comments

I bought the bifocal to work in. I liked they were light weight, the look, and the bifocal was accurate. Did not like the fact that the bifocal was up too high blurring my vision. The lense shattered in a few days of use. I have had dollar store glasses for years and never had the lense shatter. I would really like them if not for these two issues.

Pros
Accurate Magnification, Lightweight, Comfortable, Stylish
Cons
Break Easily, Poor Quality

Recently had cataract surgery and now only need readers, but I don't like wearing readers - prefer the bifocal in the full frame.

Good product8/1/2016

I was nearsighted all of my adult life. Following cataract surgery, I found myself with 20/20 vision at a distance, but incapable of focussing close up. After playing with reading glasses, I discovered a variety of bifocals on this site. Bifocals work for me for day-to-day around the house and at work. Non-bifocal readers should still be favoured for working on a computer. These glasses, plus three other styles, are serving me well. Good quality at an excellent price, even with a weak Canadian dollar. And service to Canada was excellent, receiving all my orders at the post office in less than 10 days.

Pros
Accurate Magnification, Lightweight, Comfortable, Stylish, True To Size

Great Bifocal Reader/Poor Frame Quality7/11/2016
Comments

I have the +2.50 Brown Tortoise Vancouver Bifocal Reader and I really like the quality of the bifocal lens and the stylish appearance of the glasses. However, I found the quality of the the frame to be of poor quality. After wearing the glasses for a while the curved edge of the temple irritated my ear. The edge of temple in that area was quite rough. I buffed the bottom edge of the temple that rests on the ear until it was smooth. To my surprise I found that the basic frame was actually a clear plastic that had a brown tortoise coating on it. In addition, the connection between the lens frame and the temple is very flimsy (lot of movement, not sturdy). I am trying to be very careful with the glasses in order to not break the temple off and to keep the nice tortoise coating in tack.

Pros
Accurate Magnification, Lightweight, Stylish, True To Size
Cons
Flimsy, Poor Quality

I was tired of taking store bought readers on and off. So wanted these to work. I couldn't get comfortable with lines of bifocals and returned.

Inaccurate sizing 6/20/2016
Comments

These are nice glasses. However, I'm a bit disappointed because I searched for Narrow frame size, and the Vancouver came up as having a Narrow Fit and an under 5 inch wide frame. When I received them they were not narrow. The website has since changed to reflect Average Fit of 5.12 inches.

Cons
Not True To Size

I like the glasses, however after a few days of use, one of the arms seems to be messed up. Something to do with the tension in them. It's a shame, because they're lightweight. Would love for them to be my go-to glasses, but now I feel like they sit awkwardly.

Cons
Flimsy, Poor Quality
