was suppose to be a 2.25 . Eye doc checked . Reading was a 2.50
these glasses are big, unattractive, and the correction in the top part is too strong for me (and therefore others). the reading part is the old fashioned thumb-nail insert that makes it impossible to see through if the glasses are big for your face. They are for mine!
I ordered these for my husband. They look more like women's glasses and he won't wear them. So I tried them. Personally, I don't like bifocals.
I am amazed on how much easier it is to work at my computer since I got these glasses. Beyond my expectations. Price is right, great quality.

glasses have more of a masculine appearance, work well for computer
these computer glasses work great. I can look down at the keyboard or reading material and up at the computer monitor without moving my head or chair back and forth. Also, I can see both distances clearly. I'm glad I found Reading Glasses Shopper.
Unfortunately, the actualglasses look much more like a woman\'s style than they did did the pictures in the listing

Not nearly as clear vision
as your bifocal sun readers
or your single vision readers.
I will be returning them.
I work in an office reviewing financial documents which have been imaged. Unfortunately, that often results in legal size docs reduced to 8 1/2 x 11, resulting in very tiny print. These glasses enable me to effectively review documents on screen against a hard copy on my desk (which also had been imaged). Regular reading glasses don't tackle the problem of the monitor - a different strength is needed - these glasses are the ticket!
These glasses are good quality and I am pleased so far.
when my eye docter looked at them he said I should buy more
so far so good. Light weight.
If these break, I will buy again from you.
These glasses have some kind of coating on the inside of the lens which makes in extreamly difficult to clean. Also the bifocals are in the wrong position and wrong size
I actually could not see my computer screen without them. I love them
although it is advertised as uni-sex, they women size and have the look also..distance between eyes do not match men's
I ordered two sets of the Houston Computer Readers (to save the shipping charges) expecting to get a set of glasses that made it easier to simultaneously work on my computer and read paperwork without having to constantly change glasses.
While the price is excellent, the glasses are worthless for that purpose.
They are simply cheap reading glasses with a very small bifocal area for the lower lens power.
It is nearly impossible to use them for their advertised purpose. The bifocal lower lens is so small, you have to "zero" in your head position to see anything.
I'd suggest you not waste money on these...I will now go to the eyeglass store and have them make me a set with two lenses as these are advertised to be.
I ordered this from the section for men, but these are not for men. I returned them for a refund.
These computer reading glasses far exceeded my expections. They are very high quality, both the lenses and the frame which even has springs in the hinges for a comfortable fit. And Reading Glasses Shopper kept me informed of the shipping etc.
I also love the jazzy case the glasses came in.
Just one suggestion: please consider offering some silver frames.
I love the new computer/reading glasses that I just purchased. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that my husband says they look like old lady glasses.
I need one set of 2.00 specs to drive.
Another set of $2.00 glasses to read.
I have searched and searched and only via optometrists and the full mony evaluation, have I foumd bifocals. That means, you know, maybe
500,00 all in.
These really do the job @ $21. I think it was. Nice looking and solid, too.
Flaw? The high-power inserts are a little small.
First these are way to big for my face; Second the 2.0 section is not set in the glass very well, there is an edge - and it reflects the light. I am sending these back.
These glasses are probably for someone with a larger head. The bifocal part of the lens is too high, and doesn\'t permit to see the computer screen. They glasses do seem to be well made though.
I spend about 4 hours a day at the computer. Much of that time is also spent reading. These are the best glasses I ever had, no more changing back and fourth between glasses.
I am very happy with my glasses and am glad I ordered them. Also I feel the price was very reasonable.
I was dissapointed with the quality of the lenses. They don't work well for me on the computer.
i love my new computer glasses. i want to order another less strength for a friend.
These glasses work very well and solved my computer screen to keyboard vision issues. However, the frames are too large and heavy for me
These bifocal readers are GREAT! They are just what I needed. I highly recommend them!
The lens gradients are perfect for my vision even though it's taking a little while for me to get used to bi-focals. I am not totally pleased with the frame design. They are called unisex, but I think they look more like a women's frame. If you were to introduce an 'aviator' style in black I think you would sell more to men.
These work very well. I no longer have to keep swapping between reading and computer glasses while I\'m working.
I love these computer glasses!
They are so good ..I can wear them all day! They look good also
Thank You...I need more in many colors and styles VAB
Glasses are functional but relatively poor optical quality. Image is distorted and creates annoying views.
I like the non glare feature.
These glasses work perfectly for work at the computer. My eyes felt much less tired.
Very versatile computer and reading glasses. Just enough magnification, distancing and comfort to make these glasses a good value.
THESE ARE OKAY, LIKE THE FRAMES, BUT THE PART THAT SHOULD NOT BE MAGNIFIED IS; SO IF THE ENTIRE LENS IS MAGNIFIED UP TO OR EQUAL TO 1.75, WHICH IS WHAT I NEED FOR READING, WHY HAVE A BIFOCAL LINE? I WANTED NO MAGNIFICATION IN THE UPPER PORTION FOR DISTANCE AND 1.75 IN THE READING PART OF THE LENS.
I can't believe I didn't order these glasses sooner. They are just the right combination of powers, and are very comfortable. The lens have just a little tint, which helps prevent fatigue. Get them now!
These are a bit large for my face (hence the 4 stars instead of 5!), but for others who want a fuller reading experience, they are just fine!
These are very feminine glasses. I'm not sure I would call them unisex.
These glasses are great for the computer and for the price you cant beat them. I wish they had more than just gold and these are styled more for women. The prices on these glasses are lower than what is out there right now and they are sturdy.
Larger and not as pretty as they appeared. They are unisex so that should have given me a clue. I have a small feminine face and the glasses are not flattering at all. They make me look like an octogenarian librarian(30 years older). They do work well for that mid range computer work, so I will use them at home. The Adrianna computer glasses are much more suited for a woman's face. Luckily I got both. The Houston's are also a heavier than I prefer for long wear.
They are a little big for my face, but I have noticed a reduction in eye strain from sitting at a computer all day at work. If I ordered again, I would get single vision. Sometimes the bifocal gets in my way. Overall a good product.
bifocal section did not fit my eyes. will be returning the glasses.
Only so-so...did not like the frames.
