Everybody needs a little magic in their life, right? A little romance, a little music, a little sunshine?

I’m not going to promise that putting on these reading glasses will magically make your hair glossy or turn your voice to musical chimes (let me know if that does happen, though, because then we really have something to write about), but the Magic readers do have some pretty “magical” qualities. As the product description says, these glasses “make reading fun again.” How? In addition to the standard black, the Magic comes in several fashionable and bright colors. Look at all you can choose from:

The Magic in Blue

The Magic in Pink

The Magic in Purple

The Magic in Red

Which one is your favorite? At the moment I’m leaning towards the purple, but these are the kind of glasses that would make me want to buy multiple pairs so I could match my mood or outfit.

Besides the fun colors, though, there are other elements to this design that make the glasses special.

Let’s take a look at the standard black frame, first.

Now – black plastic frames are very trendy at the moment, but they don’t work on everyone. If you do not have the features to balance a thicker black frame, the glasses end up taking over your face. However, the Magic readers in all of the different shades have a lighter colored line across the top of the lenses and down the sides of the earpieces. What this does is break up the black, creating a softer look and making the glasses much more versatile.

In the other four shades, the Magic also pairs black with a different color, producing the same effect. Lighter colors allow the light to reflect, keeping the black from overwhelming your features.

With powers ranging from +1.00 to +3.00 (and with a pricetag of only $13.56), these glasses are an easy way to adapt the black frame trend for any face. Check them out, and let me know what you think – magical, or just another pair of glasses?
