The Dean sucks3/16/2017

The hinges crumbled. Within a short time the hinges actually disintegrated and there was no way to repair them. There was no way to attach the screw I would never buy this item again. The price and discount are wonderful but this item does no favors for the company or its good name. I will probably give a metal set of glasses a chance, but the plastic are junk, as far as I am concerned.

Pros
Accurate Magnification, True To Size
Cons
Break Easily, Flimsy, Poor Quality

Wish I had read the reviews on this first...3/14/2017

I was very disappointed with this purchase; the screw came out almost immediately. I have repaired it myself several times - but am now left with a screw that is too large holding the glasses together.rnrnI have bought many glasses from Readers.Com in the past but only had this problem 1x before (you corrected the previous issue). I can't see that it is worth spending the money to return this item - but I am disappointed and wanted to let you know.

Break Easily, Flimsy

Love them, but they break easily2/4/2017
Comments

I have a wide face, so it's hard to buy reading glasses that fit. I also like a big lens. The Dean fits comfortably, and the lens size is perfect. However, like others have said, they do break easily. I also think of them as basically disposable -- I wait until they're on sale and buy a couple of pairs at a time. I've probably bought half a dozen in the past year. They'd be perfect if they were sturdier!

Pros
Accurate Magnification, Lightweight, Comfortable, Stylish
Cons
Break Easily, Flimsy, Poor Quality, Scratch Easily
