Buy the multi-focal instead2/13/2017
Comments

I bought these because I loved another pair of "computer readers" that my wife bought. These, however, have a really small area of "reader" magnification and a lined change to the lower power "computer" part. They work exactly as advertised and they are as good as the other glasses I've bought from this site, but the lines are driving me crazy. Buy the multi-focal lenses that have a gradual change in magnification.

Excellent results1/2/2017
Comments

I was not sure of the "split lens", with different magnification for the monitor screen, because of previous old habits with single magnification lenses, but after about ten minutes use, i did not want to go back to my old glasses with single magnification. Lens powers for both fields (near reading and more distant monitor screen) were absolutely perfect! I have not picked up my other glasses again. I will order more, and highly recommend them without reservation. You will likely be very satisfied. (I say likely because some people are never satisfied. Some people just don't like diamonds that are too shiny.) Thanks for an excellent product!

Pros
Accurate Magnification, Lightweight, Sturdy, Comfortable, High Quality, True To Size

great product, but didn't last a year4/9/2017

i have two pairs of these and use them at work and at home. they've been fantastic--great looking and very helpful (especially with all my computer use). i think they should last longer than a year though. a thin part of the arm over a hinge snapped, and the arm swings outward. the glasses fit weird now and fall off easily. the second pair is showing wear in the same way and i don't expect them to last much longer. rnrnextra disappointed they are out of stock and i can't replace them :(

Comfortable, Stylish

They did not work out like I had hoped, but it is not Readers.co2/2/2017

I decided to go with the bi-focal reader/computer glasses. after a week or so I am just not adjusting to them. There is nothing wrong with the glasses. I just find myself tilting my head up to use the readers instead of the computer part. I just ordered a pair that are not bi-focal. I like the company, just made a bad choice for myself.

Outstanding customer service8/30/2016
Comments

I would like to thank the folks at Readers.com for their willingness to post my review about these glasses. They were honest enough to post it even though it was not outstanding from a sales point of view. Upon learning of my disappointment, they contacted me and said that nothing less than my total satisfaction would do. I was offered an exchange or a refund without even asking. I opted for the refund, and they promptly sent me a return label with postage. This is not the first time I have purchased from them, and it will not be my last. Their business ethics are what keeps customers coming back.

You cant go wrong. Large enough to see complete computer yet gla1/21/2016

Switching between computer and text on paper. Absolutely superb. 2.50 reader; has plenty of room for reading type on paper, while less magnification (guessing 1.75) for reading computer, shows all of the detail. Those folks complaining that the area for close up reading is to small, must have large eyes, because my normal size eyes work perfect when reading close up. I don't have to move my head, just my eyes to switch between computer reading and close up. Hinges are sping loaded. These are great glasses at any price. I went to the optometrist and ordered computer glasses for $129.00 and they are terrible. Looks like I will be sitting in the optometrist chair again. I can't say enough about how great these are. I ordered 2 pair, and they are identical.

Somebody Bring These Back!4/26/2018
Comments

There is nothing else like these available anywhere anymore. They reduced glare, were tinted without that obnoxious yellow hue, and were dual power. Bifocal is a MUCH more effective solution than multifocal, where you have to learn to peek through a drinking straw to see monitors with correct and even focus. The curved bifocal area was perfect for close reading, and the sharp division affords more viewing area at each power. My eyes are still decent enough, so the half-power main viewing area could be less than 1.00--ideal for computer distance. Case was included! Might have preferred an average fit over the narrow, and could have been more durable, but I'd still rather have these taped up and glued than any of the other half-baked solutions.

I like them for most stuff2/23/2018
Comments

I use these for general readers and computer work. I use lined bifocals for driving. I like that I don't have to tilt my head up to do computer work. I don't care much for the tiny circles of magnification for reading. They are ok when reading, but present in the field of view when trying to use the middle portion of the glasses lens. Have just a little tint that may help take some strain off from the computer screen.
