great product, but didn't last a year4/9/2017
Comments

i have two pairs of these and use them at work and at home. they've been fantastic--great looking and very helpful (especially with all my computer use). i think they should last longer than a year though. a thin part of the arm over a hinge snapped, and the arm swings outward. the glasses fit weird now and fall off easily. the second pair is showing wear in the same way and i don't expect them to last much longer. rnrnextra disappointed they are out of stock and i can't replace them :(

Pros
Comfortable, Stylish
Cons
Break Easily

Buy the multi-focal instead2/13/2017
Comments

I bought these because I loved another pair of "computer readers" that my wife bought. These, however, have a really small area of "reader" magnification and a lined change to the lower power "computer" part. They work exactly as advertised and they are as good as the other glasses I've bought from this site, but the lines are driving me crazy. Buy the multi-focal lenses that have a gradual change in magnification.

They did not work out like I had hoped, but it is not Readers.co2/2/2017

I decided to go with the bi-focal reader/computer glasses. after a week or so I am just not adjusting to them. There is nothing wrong with the glasses. I just find myself tilting my head up to use the readers instead of the computer part. I just ordered a pair that are not bi-focal. I like the company, just made a bad choice for myself.

Accurate Magnification, Sturdy, Comfortable, High Quality

MAJOR design flaw.1/27/2017
Comments

The "reading" portion of the bifocal only covers about 1/2 of what would normally be the lower portion of the lens - about the size and shape of 1/4th of a nickel. It is very annoying to only have half of the field of vision subject to the magnification when reading. The shape of this reading area was not disclosed, and I have never seen it in any other bifocal or computer glasses.rnrnThe "computer" section of the lens is fine.rnrnExcept for this deficiency, which will cause me to return them, the glasses would rate 4 stars.rnReally a huge disappointment.

Pros
Accurate Magnification, Comfortable, True To Size

Excellent results1/2/2017

I was not sure of the "split lens", with different magnification for the monitor screen, because of previous old habits with single magnification lenses, but after about ten minutes use, i did not want to go back to my old glasses with single magnification. Lens powers for both fields (near reading and more distant monitor screen) were absolutely perfect! I have not picked up my other glasses again. I will order more, and highly recommend them without reservation. You will likely be very satisfied. (I say likely because some people are never satisfied. Some people just don't like diamonds that are too shiny.) Thanks for an excellent product!

I am really enjoying these glasses. I work on the computer 10 hours a day and my eyes tend to get rather tired. These have worked great for me so far!

Photo not representative of product10/19/2016

I'm a visual shopper and looked at the photos and did not see the bifocal area. It is really funky looking. I will be sending these back. I got spoiled with progressive prescription glasses but need a stronger magnifivpcation on the bottom. Got multi-focal off this site for $10 cheaper and they blow these out of the water. Unfortunately they, the multi-focal types for $19.95 are sold out.

Pros
Accurate Magnification, True To Size

Priced Too High

Outstanding customer service8/30/2016
Comments

I would like to thank the folks at Readers.com for their willingness to post my review about these glasses. They were honest enough to post it even though it was not outstanding from a sales point of view. Upon learning of my disappointment, they contacted me and said that nothing less than my total satisfaction would do. I was offered an exchange or a refund without even asking. I opted for the refund, and they promptly sent me a return label with postage. This is not the first time I have purchased from them, and it will not be my last. Their business ethics are what keeps customers coming back.

Reading lens is to small8/28/2016
Comments

I am disappointed that the reading lens is limited to two small areas, located beside the nose pads. I was expecting a bi-focal line running across the horizontal plane of the entire lens. Reading with these glasses is not comfortable due to the small isolated reading area. I find the need to either move my head or my reading material excessively. The computer viewing portion of the glasses works nicely.
