The Lynnwood model is lightweight, fits well, and is wonderfully comfortable. The lenses of two pairs were fixed in the frame unevenly. Readers.com customer service has been excellent, replacing the defective ones quickly

Excellent if you like half lens readers7/25/2017

I bought these and another style to try half glasses. Unfortunately, they're not for me. The nose piece is too wide and the top of the lens comes right in the middle of my eyes, so that I can see neither the close up thing I'm working on nor items in the distance. I think they would be great for those who like this type of glasses, but I had to return them.

Pros
Accurate Magnification, Lightweight, High Quality, Stylish, True To Size
Cons
Uncomfortable

Is a 5x the same as a 5x?7/21/2017
Comments

We bought these to replace a 5x Foster Grant glasses that we bought from a different web seller. My wife tried these out and even though they have a 5x sticker on them, my wife said that they didn't seem to be as powerful as her Foster Grant's of the same power. I tried them on and what it seems like is the you have to hold the document you are reading closer to get it clear, than the Foster Grant's. I say the distance from the object you are looking at must be held about 3-4 inches closer to get the same visual clarity as the Foster Grant's. The Foster Grant's show 5x stamped on the frame. The Lynwood's show 5.0 on the frame also. I guess the question is why the disparity between two different manufacturers?

Lightweight, Sturdy, Comfortable

I wore hard contact lenses for over 40 yrs and recently had cataract surgery that now requires reading glasses. I looked all over for very narrow half glasses without a top rim, and finally found them at Readers. I bought 2, one for home and one to carry in my purse. They are perfect for me. My only criticism might be that they are a little big for my face and slide down my nose a little too far. I would definitely buy again and recommend.

Accurate Magnification, Lightweight, Stylish
