Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie imageHarry Potter fans are expressing mixed emotions as the premier of  “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2” approaches. Fans are eager to see the last installment of the movies; however, the last movie means there are no more books or films coming out. Die-hard fans are wondering what they’ll have to look forward to after Part 2 hits theaters July 15.

If you’ve been following the movies, you may remember that Part 1 concluded with Voldermort breaking into Dumbledore’s tomb to retrieve the Elder Wand — also known as the Deathstick. For those who need a recap before July 15, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1” came out on DVD on April 15.

Harry’s glasses have always been something that his peers picked on throughout the series. You may remember in the first movie, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” when Hermione met Harry on the Hogwart’s Express train. The first spell that she taught Harry was “Reparo,” to fix his glasses.

Those infamous  frames accompanied Harry through all his adventures, and they are an important part of Harry Potter. They are a part of his signature look, which includes untidy black hair, the lightning bolt scar, and the famous Harry Potter glasses — that always seem to be breaking.  I would like to make a suggestion to the great Harry Potter to try out a more durable and reliable pair of glasses so that the next time he encounters an attack the glasses won’t shatter or require repair by magic!

Harry Potter Glasses

Many fans like to attend the movie premiers in costume, donning their Hogwarts robes and ties. If you’re celebrating the end of the series by dressing up as Harry Potter,  The Harry readers were created in Harry’s name and look identical to his glasses! Fans may be sad that the saga is nearly over, but don’t forget that you can always revisit the books and movies to be taken back into the magical world of Harry Potter!
