LOVE the glasses! Reordered a 2nd pair!11/1/2016
Comments

I was hesitant to order a multi-focal glasses online because I was conditioned to believe I must spend hundreds at an ophthalmologist office. I bought 2 pairs of reading glasses through readers.com so when I saw the multi-focal at $19.99, I had to give it a try! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Alaska! First on foremost, there is no line on the lenses! Secondly, the Alaska is sturdy like my Mulberry and Beckman.rnLast but not least, I can afford to misplace them at such a reasonable price. I LOVE READERS>COM!

Pros
Accurate Magnification, Sturdy, Comfortable, Stylish

Just What I Was Looking For - Alaska Multi-Focal12/15/2016
Comments

I wanted to see if a pair of $20 glasses would suffice for ordinary daily use and for driving and outdoor use. So when these arrived, I put them on and never looked back. I used them non-stop for 2 weeks. What I discovered was that these glasses are perfect for my use. They are a replacement for my prescribed glasses that lead me to forget filling my prescription this year. Exactly what I wanted and much better than I expected.

Pros
Accurate Magnification, Lightweight, Comfortable, High Quality, True To Size

Just really, sadly disappointing optics, bonus alignment marks o4/5/2017
Comments

I tried these glasses thinking I might get use of the multifocal design, but the lenses are of such poor quality, or ground so badly, that there is distortion on every part of the image that is not just in the center. Distortion and color fringing. As a bonus, these lenses included some kind of small ghostly alignment marks on the lenses, which was an obvious oversight at the QC step. Nice enough looking, but otherwise garbage.

Pros
Stylish
Cons
Priced Too High, Uncomfortable, Poor Quality

Perfect for computer work!12/27/2016
Comments

I spend the majority of my work day at the computer. Since I simultaneously work on two monitors that would require different focal lengths, these glasses are perfect! They are quite stylish as well, for that nerdy-cool look that everyone seems to be sporting today. They are substantial frames, but the weight doesn't bother me. The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is that they do not have spring loaded temples. If they added that to the design, you'd never keep them in stock! Thank you also for the super quick delivery during the busy holiday season!

ordering more now12/10/2016

as someone else said I thought multifocals had to cost hundreds so was hesitant to order but once I tried them one I was sold. They are light and extremely comfortable, magnification and progression is excellent and I can see them becoming my go-to glasses. my only peeve is that o don't have the right face for them, head is too round and big but that's not the product's fault....buying a couple more for in-house use anyway :)

Couldn't be happier with this purchase! Just started needing readers, so I was happy to find an online vendor who specialized. The Alaska multi-focus works great, magnification (1.75) is perfect for me, and they don't slip down my nose. As endearing as the push-up-your-glasses tic is, I'm happy to be rid of it. Reader's website is zippy, navigation is a breeze, and shipping was prompt. Highly recommend!

I was excited like others to see a 'tri-focal' type set of glasses being offered, and several styles also. I wanted the 'Wilcox' model, but unfortunately out of stock in my strength. These were 2nd choice. I didn't expect graduated view- no lines, so very nice. Only downside so far is for computer monitor view, you have to have your head at just the right angle. I think I prefer the bifocal style after trying these, but I have to keep them. Going back to Canada in 2 days, no time to exchange, I'll likely manage, but I can see how they'd be great for some other users.
