great choice for musicians "of a certain age" ! I purchased the low magnification Syracuse glasses. they work great for reading music in a conducted ensemble.
I can look through the glasses and see my music better, or over the top to see the conductor. having no top frame makes this really easy to do. while the glasses seem delicate, they have held up well for a year. the slim protective carrying case fits in my instrument cases . I always have a pair ready. Since they are not bifocal, i can also wear them higher up when not playing with a distant conductor I need to follow.
