Perfect Purchase 8/12/2016
Comments

When I read the other ratings they were mostly about fishing. However I went ahead and bought these anyway because they seemed to be something I had been looking.rnThis pair of sunglasses with the magnification on the bifocal is really nice. The tint is perfect for driving and when you need to read it is so easy and clear just to her drop your eyes naturally and read what you need to. I will definitely order another pair of these when the time comes to replace.

Pros
Accurate Magnification, Lightweight, Comfortable, High Quality, Stylish, True To Size

Nice, lightweight polarized reader.10/31/2016
Comments

I read by a pool, where the glare is fierce; these are great. They are very lightweight, so one con is that they aren't the sturdiest. But I like the weight, so it's worth being extra careful with them.

Pros
Accurate Magnification, Lightweight, Comfortable
Cons
Break Easily

While they look a little 'odd' with the clear lens , it is actually excellent functionality! Clear view with sunglasses portion then for seeing GPS and other gauges, the clear is awesome! No more lifting sunglasses off my face to see brighter! Great for boating!

Don't let the product picture put you off. The picture makes it look like the clear part of the glasses will stand out like headlights. I suspect the photo reflects taking the picture against a light, flat background.rnrnWhen worn on your face, your face covered by the glasses is in shadow. The contrast between the clear and dark areas is low. The glasses look a lot less geeky than the photo.rnrnI also note that the clear inserts allow *approximately* 1 inch of width for each inch from the lens. Depending on the material and distance, you may have to move your head side to side where you might not with other bifocals having wider lenses. I think I might find them uncomfortable reading for an hour but reading for a short time might be just fine.

High Quality

Calling all FISHERMEN!3/10/2016
Comments

I will probably buy another pair of these soon as I seem to lose or break my fishing sunglasses regularly. These Skipper reading glasses are great for fisherman. They are a fantastic value. Just check out sunglasses for fishermen and you will see for yourself. The only downside is I wish Reader's.com carried them in amber and green lenses also. Don't wait, at this price just buy a pair!

I'm ordering a second pair.6/15/2017
Comments

I drive a hundred miles one way to work and fish in Bass Tournaments when I can. The smoke pair I own have become INDISPENSABLE on the road and are a big help on the lake. You're constantly transitioning between road or lake to Instrument's, GPS or whatever. I agree wholeheartedly with another reviewer, that these do NOT look geaky or whatever. My kids and grandkids didn't know I had clear reader until I took them off. That's when it becomes apparent. I've attached a pic and just ordered an Amber pair for the road/lake for those cloudy days but with high brightness. rn

Did this product arrive as described? If not, in what ways can we improve?
Arrived promptly and as described. You can spend three or four times as much and not get any improvement. I bought two pair for a backup, and still is a bargain.
How do these readers fit?
Slap on from the box.
What do you like the most about these readers?
Especially like the clear bifocal being lower to not affect straight ahead. Good design.

The bifocal area is in sharp contrast to the rest of lens. They make for a very unattractive look when wearing.

Fly fisherman recomended9/5/2016
Comments

As a fisherman two things I need is amber polarized sunglasses and a magnifying lenz tof tie onot tin flys. Well here ya go. These do the job nicely and for under 20 bucks. The polarization is much better than my very expensive prescription glasses with Transitions Vantage (R) with variable polarization which do poorly with cutting the glare on the water. My old fishing buds are going to love these. I hope Readers stocks more styles in these.

Pros
Lightweight, Sturdy, Comfortable
Cons
Scratch Easily
